Toddler Time

Tate started the day in his Superman pj's.  He and Pop gave Buzz Lightyear a rocket ride.  Then Whit dressed the boys in University of Georgia athletic outfits given to them by Keith's mom.  Play was suspended for a while when we saw nature happening in their backyard.  A chipmunk was eating breakfast on the deck and then a pair of geese parents came to show off their spring babies.

Tate's Rescheduled 3rd Birthday Party

Tate finally had his birthday party at Catch Air in Marietta.  Friends from his school came, as well as neighbors and family.  We were not able to capture as many photos of him as of Brady because Tate was just a blur of activity!  He had a great time.  He was shy about being the center of attention when it was time to sing Happy Birthday, so we sang Happy Birthday to Brady instead.  Tate did agree to blow out the candles on his cake.

Birthdays - Tate's 3rd and Brady's 1st

Tate has a strep infection that looks like the mumps under his right ear, so his big party was cancelled yesterday.   The boys had a small family party at home.  The big party is rescheduled.  One of the mother's from Keith's baseball team made the elaborate cakes.

Golden Boys Visit

A couple of highlights from Tate and Brady's recent visit....I was sitting on the floor with Brady,  reading a little plastic book to him and using his finger to point at the numbers on the page.  After finishing the last page, he looked up at me from my lap, stood up, smiled,  and wrapped his little arms around my neck and gave me the best thank you hug ever!!  The other highlight is when Tate told Whitney at bedtime, "I am so proud of Nana.  She is sweet, sweet, sweet!"  Loved hearing that!
